How can you talk about birth control without people who have the ability to give birth? Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) walked out of today’s House hearing on contraception when she learned there were no women on the panel. And Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA) boycotted the hearing altogether. If you thought this issue ended with President Obama’s decision to have insurance companies fund contraception in place of religious institutions last Friday, you were wrong.
