The nation’s attention shifts from the White House to Capitol Hill Wednesday for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s testimony on the September 2012 consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya. Four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed. Secretary Clinton faces questions from House & Senate committee members one month after a concussion forced her to delay testifying.
Republican leadership in the House of Representatives will bring a bill to the floor today calling for a suspension of the debt ceiling until mid-May, giving lawmakers time to pass budgets out of the House & Senate. The move is the first step in what should be moves of strategic fights over the budget this year.
