* The latest Quinnipiac University polls found Harris narrowly leading Trump in Michigan, 49% to 46%, while the two major party presidential nominees are also tied in Wisconsin, with each garnering 48% support. * As for U.S. Senate races, the same Quinnipiac polls found Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin leading former Republican Rep. Mike Rogers in Michigan, 52% to 44%, while incumbent Democratic Sen. * Speaking of Michigan’s Senate race, former House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney has thrown her support behind Slotkin’s candidacy. It’s the latest in a series of Democratic endorsements from the former Wyoming congresswoman.

* In a ruling that might prove highly consequential, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has ruled that voters whose postal ballots are rejected for procedural reasons can still cast provisional ballots.

* And when Trump arrives in Las Vegas for his latest campaign rally, he’s likely to see a new billboard from the Democratic National Committee. The message, which quotes a report published in The Atlantic this week, will read: “Trump: ‘I Need the Kind of Generals That Hitler Had.’”
