Special counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday filed a superseding indictment in the federal election subversion case against former President Donald Trump.
The superseding indictment, which presents the same four charges as the original indictment, is meant to address the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling from last month to the case, the special counsel said in an accompanying filing.
