President Obama’s two-week vacation to Martha’s Vineyard got off to a funny start on Saturday as the president played golf with “Seinfeld” co-creator and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” comedian Larry David.
The pair teed off at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs, on the north side of the Massachusetts island. They were joined by Cyrus Walker, the cousin of senior aide Valarie Jarrett, and David Wolf, the former chairman of UBS Investment Bank.
According to a White House pool report, the game was worthy of a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” subplot: David, who has golfed with the president before, boldly tried to hit his ball out of a sand trap, while Obama did his signature leg kick as he missed the long putt.
