Prince released “Baltimore,” his protest song addressing unrest in the city, Saturday on SoundCloud, ahead of his Sunday “Rally 4 Peace” concert in honor of Freddie Gray.
A spokeswoman for the singer previously said the song “addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio-political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men.” The death of Gray, who suffered a spinal cord injury while in police custody last month, set off protests, riots and a state of emergency declaration in the city.
