Looking to capitalize on Mitt Romney’s lukewarm relations with the middle class, President Obama highlighted his policies that cater to voters who are, in his words, just “looking for a chance” to succeed.
In a speech on Wednesday, he accused Republicans of reviving trickle-down economics aimed at the one percent instead of helping average Americans. These Republicans “don’t seem to remember how America was built,” Obama said.
He never mentioned Romney by name, but he took a subtle dig at the GOP frontrunner’s vast wealth and fortune.
