Lawrence was on Morning Joe this morning and discussed more on the news surrounding multi-millionaire backer to Rick Santorum’s Super PAC, Foster Friess.
This morning, Friess tweeted out a link apologizing for what he described as an old and bad joke.
To those who applauded my comments and remembered the joke, thanks for your encouragement. To those who thought I was callously encouraging that as a prescription for today, I kindly ask your forgiveness. God Bless, Foster.
On The Last Word, he called his comments on birth control a “joke.” He had said, in his day, women used aspirin between their knees as contraception.
