Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has raised 4.5 million dollars in just under 5 weeks and 60 percent of the money is coming from outside the state.
During a typical election Wisconsin governors can only except donations under $10,000 but in a recall anything goes. The largest contribution Walker accepted totaled 500,000 dollars from a single donor in Texas.
In an age with Citizen’s United and unlimited Super PAC money, is all of this cash flowing into politics really a good idea?
