Have Mercy! “Full House” is coming back.
On Monday, Uncle Jesse confirmed rumors of the late 80’s early 90’s sitcom during an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. “We’ve been working on this for many, many years. The original creator, Jeff Franklin, and Bob Boyett and Tom Miller, we were trying to do some kind of spinoff. We wanted to give credit to the legacy. ” Stamos told Kimmel. “It starts sort of as a reunion and then spins off.”
Netflix also confirmed Stamos comments when it released an official press release announcing it has ordered 13 episodes of “Fuller House” which will star Candace Cameron- Bure, DJ, Jodie Sweetin, Stephanie, and Andrea Barber, Kimmy Gibler. The series will premier in 2016, nearly 30 years after the original hit the airwaves. The new series has a similar premise to “Full House”. “Candace has three boys and it’s sort of a reversal. And we turn the house over to her,” Stamos explained. “It’s a labor of love. We’ve been literally trying for so many years to do it right. And I think we finally got it perfect.”
