Did you know that there were nearly 24 million tweets sent during the 3 presidential debates. The tweets launched viral campaign memes that took on a life of their own. They became part of not only the water cooler conversation but the national one as well.
Big Bird, binders full of women, horses and bayonets, to name a few, took off on the twittersphere the moment the candidates said the words at the respective debates. While these memes are funny they have also created a deeper conversation into women’s rights and military spending.
