Former NBA star Dennis Rodman loves being in the spotlight. And his recent trips to North Korea—not to mention his relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un —have certainly kept him there. Now Rodman is trying to bring more attention to these efforts in a new commercial…about pistachios.
Decked out in green attire, with hair to match, Rodman pokes fun at his relationship with Kim Jong-Un when he tells him “The secret to world peace is—pistachios.”
Wonderful Pistachios ends the commercial with the tagline: “Dennis Rodman does it because he is nuts.”
Earlier this month Rodman took his second trip to North Korea “I just want to meet my friend Kim, the marshal, and start a basketball league over there or something like that,” he said of the trip.
