* On a related note: “Authorities investigating the Boston Marathon bombing said Wednesday they have the face but not the name of someone seen on video leaving a black bag near the scene of the blasts. The person was seen on a surveillance camera from a Lord & Taylor department store, one official said.”
* More from Boston: “The federal courthouse in Boston was given the all clear on Wednesday afternoon after being evacuated because of an apparent bomb threat earlier in the day.”
* The FBI was not at all pleased this afternoon with incorrect reporting about the arrest of a suspect in the Boston attack.

* More potentially dangerous mailings: “A letter addressed to President Barack Obama and another sent to a senator — both of which tested positive for the poison ricin — carried an identical closing statement, according to an FBI bulliten obtained by NBC News on Wednesday. According to the FBI bulletin, both letters, postmarked April 8, 2013 out of Memphis, Tenn., included an identical phrase, ‘to see a wrong and not expose it, is to become a silent partner to its continuance.’ In addition, both letters are signed: ‘I am KC and I approve this message.’”
* President Obama is reportedly set to make a public statement about the Republican filibuster of background checks any minute now. * Texas: “The wife of a jailed former justice of the peace in the Texas county where a district attorney and his wife were found dead in their home in March has been arrested and charged with capital murder.” * Arkansas: “Supporters of abortion rights on Tuesday filed a challenge to the new Arkansas law banning most abortions at the 12th week of pregnancy, calling it a ‘violation of over 40 years of settled United States Supreme Court precedent’ and a threat to ‘the rights, liberty and well-being of Arkansas women and their families.’” Anything to add?
