Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* The new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney by six points nationwide, 49% to 43%, while the latest PPP poll for Daily Kos/SEIU shows the two tied at 46% each.
* The Priorities USA Action super PAC has a good new ad going after Romney’s offshore record and connecting it to the Olympics. The spot is set to run in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia during the summer games.
* A new PPP poll in Michigan shows Obama leading Romney by 14 points, 53% to 39%. In Pennsylvania, meanwhile, PPP shows the president up, but by a smaller margin, 49% to 43%.
* In Massachusetts, a new poll conducted by the MassINC Polling Group shows Elizabeth Warren (D) with a narrow lead over incumbent Sen. Scott Brown (R), 40% to 38%.
