Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* While Indiana’s Richard Mourdock (R) argued this morning that “God does not want rape” — when you have to put this in print, you have a problem — the American Bridge super PAC has a new video on the controversy.
* In Ohio, a new SurveyUSA poll shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney by three, 47% to 44%.
* In Virginia, an Old Dominion University poll shows Obama with a seven-point advantage over Romney, 50% to 43%, though by all accounts, this poll is an outlier.
* In Massachusetts’ closely watched U.S. Senate race, a new WBUR poll shows Elizabeth Warren (D) leading Sen. Scott Brown (R) by five, 48% to 43%.
