Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* The DCCC has a new web video out, making the case that Paul Ryan’s budget plan cost Republicans House seats in 2012, and Democrats are aiming for similar results in 2014.
* Former RNC Chairman Michael Steele raised a very important point on msnbc this morning about his party’s minority outreach: “How does Reince Priebus reconcile his approach and his agreement with voter registration policies that many in the black community view as anti-black [and] racist?”
* In Florida, Public Policy Polling shows incumbent Gov. Rick Scott (R) struggling against his likely Democratic rivals in hypothetical general-election match ups, including a 12-point deficit against former Gov. Charlie Crist, who is now a Democrat.
