Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* After a brief respite, Rick Santorum is resuming his campaign schedule today, including attending an American Heartland Conversation on Faith, Family and American Values at a bible college in Lancaster.
* According to the Pew Research Center, nearly three-quarters of Republican voters already assume Mitt Romney will be the GOP’s presidential nominee.
* In Maine, the latest statewide poll shows former Gov. Angus King (I) with a huge lead in this year’s U.S. Senate race.
* Given all of the steps Romney has already taken to alienate Latino voters, I suppose it’s not too surprising that his campaign doesn’t make a Spanish version of its website available.
