Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* In light of Mitt Romney’s reversals yesterday on reproductive rights, this new Planned Parenthood ad is especially well timed. It’s set to air in Colorado and Virginia.
* In Ohio, the new NBC/WSJ/Marist poll shows President Obama leading Romney by six, 51% to 45%.
* In Florida, the NBC/WSJ/Marist poll puts Obama’s lead at just one point, 47% to 46%, though a University of North Florida poll, conducted a few days before and a few days after last week’s debate, shows the president ahead by four, 49% to 45%.
* In Virginia, NBC/WSJ/Marist has Romney taking a one-point lead, 48% to 47%, but a CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac poll shows Obama up by five, 51% to 46%.
* In Wisconsin, the CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac poll shows Obama leading by three, 50% to 47%.
* In Nevada, Public Policy Polling shows the president ahead by four, 51% to 47%, while a Suffolk poll shows Obama ahead by two, 47% to 45%.
