* CNN’s latest national poll asked respondents to consider some head-to-head 2020 match-ups, and Donald Trump trailed most of the top Democratic contenders by margins ranging from three to seven points. The exception was Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), whom the president led by one point.
* Kansas’ Democratic Party abandoned its presidential caucuses yesterday, agreeing instead to hold a primary.
* On a related note, Colorado, which is also moving from a caucus to a primary system, announced this week that it’s moving its contest to Super Tuesday.
