It was hacks vs. politicos in Wednesday night’s charity softball game to benefit young women with breast cancer. The Bad News Babes, made up of women of the Washington Press Corps, beat the Congressional women’s team 13-10 in the annual Congressional Women’s Softball game, which benefits the Young Survival Coalition, a Washington nonprofit dedicated to helping young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
The legislators’ captains included: Sen. Ayotte (R-NH), Rep.Emerson (R- MO), Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY) and Rep. Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).
Captains for the journalists’ team were Dana Bash of CNN, Carrie Budoff Brown of Politico, Brianna Keilar of CNN, Abby Livingston of Roll Call, and Amy Walter of ABC News.
msnbc’s Andrea Mitchell and Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota helped call the play-by-play of the game.
