Donald Trump won’t be on stage at Tuesday night’s Democratic debate, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stay out of the spotlight.
The Republican presidential candidate announced early Tuesday morning that he’ll live-tweet the debate to his 4.4. million followers.
At the request of many, and even though I expect it to be a very boring two hours, I will be covering the Democrat Debate live on twitter!

CNN has said they expect fewer viewers in Tuesday night’s debate, in part because of the absence of Trump, whose reputation for speaking his mind helped shatter rating records in the first two Republican debates. His polarizing views – and dominance in the Republican primary polls – ensures him a place in the conversation around the first Democratic debate Tuesday night, which will feature Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Lincoln Chafee and Jim Webb.
