Donald Trump won’t be on stage at Tuesday night’s Democratic debate, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stay out of the spotlight.
The Republican presidential candidate announced early Tuesday morning that he’ll live-tweet the debate to his 4.4. million followers.

His polarizing views – and dominance in the Republican primary polls – ensures him a place in the conversation around the first Democratic debate Tuesday night, which will feature Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Lincoln Chafee and Jim Webb.
Trump is far from the first candidate to take to Twitter during a debate.
