Shots were reportedly fired near the National Security Agency’s headquarters Tuesday, officials say, and the agency says one of its buildings was damaged by what appear to be multiple gunshots.
Park Police officials told News4 they’re investigating a report of shots fired along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Route 32 in Fort Meade, Maryland. The NSA is located nearby.
The NSA and Park Police officials are investigating whether the incidents are related, though Park Police have shut down northbound BW Parkway at Rt. 32 for police investigation.
There is no word of any injuries.
