Sarah Palin is throwing heat at ESPN after the network suspended baseball analyst Curt Schilling for his offensive tweet about Muslims and Nazis.
“ESPN—what happened to you?” the former Alaska governor and failed vice presidential candidate asked in a Facebook post on Thursday night. “Your intolerant PC police are running amok and making a joke out of you!”
Earlier this week, Schilling was pulled from ESPN’s Little League World Series coverage after he sent a tweet that included a controversial meme that read, “It’s said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How’d that go?” Schilling personally added, “The math is staggering when you get to true #’s”

ESPN called the world series champ’s remarks “completely unacceptable and in no way represents our company’s perspective.” Schilling has since apologized, calling the tweet a “bad decision.”
Still, Palin, in her Facebook post – with the headline “ESPN is a journalistic embarrassment” — argued there was nothing wrong with Schilling’s tweet, and that if anything his statistic about Muslims was “too generous.”
“Reports show it’s 88% of Egyptian Muslims favoring DEATH for anyone who leaves Islam. The majority of Muslims in many other places share the sentiment…. The difference between Hitler’s army and the genocidal maniacs of ISIS is that the jihadists don’t have as much powe r… yet,” she wrote.
