It might be hard to believe that President Barack Obama addressed the nation as commander-in-chief for the first time just seven years ago. Fast forward from his speech before a joint session of Congress on Jan. 20, 2009, to now. With Obama’s last day in office drawing near, the president is set to deliver his final State of the Union address — and it promises to be one for the record books.
