With the announcement Tuesday of a historic deal to curb Iran’s nuclear program, President Obama has achieved one of the top foreign policy goals of his second term.
The past few months have been kind to the Obama legacy, as the president protected net neutrality and opened up diplomatic relations with Cuba. Obama’s signature legislative accomplishment — the Affordable Care Act — also survived its last significant legal threat.

But with only a year and a half left in the White House, Obama still has some unfinished business to attend to. From closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay to providing free access to community college, there are a lot of items on the Obama agenda that have yet to be checked off. Here’s a rundown of what the president has and has not achieved through his first six and a half years in office.
