In the wake of reports that White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett leaked the news of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email servers, Jarrett herself is speaking out.
“No, Mika, I did not,” she said in an interview on “Morning Joe” with co-host Mika Brzezinski. “It’s preposterous,” she added.
Clinton took heat last week over news that she had used a privately controlled server to host both personal and business email accounts during her time at the State Department. At a public appearance last week, she announced that she would release 33,000 of her emails once the State Department had reviewed them and that she had deleted 31,000 personal emails that pertained to things like yoga and planning her daughter’s wedding. Republicans immediately balked and said that they may go to the courts to obtain those personal emails, arguing that they don’t trust Clinton’s lawyers to determine what is personal and what is not.
