In what’s being called her first public appearance since coming out as a transgender woman, Caitlyn Jenner attended a Pride event on Saturday in New York City, E! News reported.
At the event, transgender activist Candis Cayne dedicated her performance of the song “I’m Every Woman” to Jenner, who made headlines in April for identifying publicly as a transgender woman in an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer. Jenner, 65, was followed around by a film crew.
A TV series documenting Jenner’s new life will premier on E! on July 26.

The event followed Friday’s landmark decision by the Supreme Court requiring states to license and recognize same-sex marriages.
