Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger pulled off an elaborate prank to raise money for a good cause.
The action movie icon dressed up as his iconic “Terminator” character and posed as a wax figure at the Madame Tussauds museum in Hollywood. As tourists attempted to take pictures next to him, Schwarzenegger sprung to life, startling and delighting fans.
“That was fun and that was just me, so imagine what happens when we do this together!” Schwarzenegger says in the promotional clip. The former governor has teamed up with Omaze, a California-based charity organization, to offer a chance to attend the premiere of his new film “Terminator: Genisys” and also raise money for after-school programs for kids.
The beneficiary of his campaign will be After-School All-Stars (ASAS), which “serves 87,377 low-income, at-risk youth at 367 Title I schools in 15 major cities across the country — from New York to Hawaii.”
