- Fox News announced that Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Chris Christie and John Kasich will be the ten candidates featured in the first Republican presidential debate on Thursday at 9 p.m. The remaining candidates — Rick Perry, Lindsey Graham, Rick Santorum, Carly Fiorina, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki and Jim Gilmore — who weren’t among the top ten in an average of five national polls, will take the stage in an hour-long debate to air at 5 p.m.
- The questions surrounding Hillary Clinton’s emails continue to linger with news Tuesday night that the FBI will be investigating the security of the private email server that Clinton used during her tenure as secretary of state. However, as the Clinton campaign has made clear, the investigation is neither targeting Clinton nor accusing her of any wrongdoing.
- Netflix just became a better place to work for future moms and dads. The company announced an “unlimited” maternity and paternity leave policy through the first year after a child’s birth or adoption. The company said they would continue to pay their employees on leave as they would normally.
- Kelly Osbourne’s attempt to mock Donald Trump backfired. While discussing the GOP frontrunner on “The View,” Osbourne said, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?” Although she backtracked and tried to explain how she didn’t mean what she said, her comments enraged the online community, prompting Osbourne to deliver a formal response on Facebook.
- Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to call Jeb Bush out when he said, in reference to Planned Parenthood, “I’m not sure we need half a billion dollars for women’s health issues.” While the Bush campaign tried to try to cover up the gaffe, saying he “misspoke,” Clinton quickly tweeted to her 4 million followers, saying Bush was, “absolutely, unequivocally wrong.”
