From Kabul to New Haven, four-star General Stanley McChrystal (Ret.) is now a professor at Yale. He’s coming on set with NBC’s Tom Brokaw to talk about vet unemployment and the need to hire our military heroes. We’ll also ask McChrystal to give his thoughts on the $50,000 payout for each victim in the Afghanistan massacre and Gen. Allen’s latest troop assessment in the wartorn country.
We’ll also talk to Gov. Rick Scott (R-FL) about his state’s Stand Your Ground law. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is pushing the Justice Department to probe the legislation, while Washington Post columnist George Will is calling it “a bad idea.” We’ll also ask the governor, a former hospital executive, to weigh in on the supreme showdown on the Affordable Care Act. Will the highest court in the land uphold the individual mandate?
