As a contributor to the One Economy Corporation, businessman Kmele Foster helps to bring financial security and independence to this country’s most disadvantaged residents.
The corporation, established in 2000, is a global nonprofit that uses technology to empower low-income communities. It connects under-served people around the world to vital information that can improve their lives.
msnbc’s Louis Burgdorf will speak on Friday in the Morning Joe greenroom with Foster about bringing broadband into the homes of low-income people.
The entrepreneur is also the co-founder and vice president of TelcoIQ, a Maryland-based telecommunications consultancy. He was recognized by the Prince George’s County Tech Council as their 2005 Small Business Executive of the Year.
