Hillary Clinton took on a heckler on Wednesday night.
At a speech in Buffalo, New York, a man interrupted Clinton, yelling “Benghazi. You let them die!” Local network WIVM captured the tense moment.
Clinton spoke over the man. “We have to be willing to come together as citizens to focus on the kind of future we want, which doesn’t include yelling, it includes sitting down and talking with one another,” she said to big cheers.
The deadly attack on a U.S. outpost in Benghazi dogged the former Secretary of State in her final months at the State Department, as Republicans demanded answers and hoped to pin the attacks—and the spin they got in Washington—on Clinton’s doorstep.
Clinton dodged questions on 2016, even laughing at the creative ways a University of Buffalo interviewer tried to ask about possible Oval Office aspirations.
