Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal challenged Joe Scarborough to participate in the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ on Wednesday.
Jindal joins a seemingly endless stream of online participants who are willing to dump cold water on their heads in the name of raising awareness — and money — for ALS. The challenge is simple: donate to a charity or dump a bucket of ice water on your head.
Each participant then challenges others to make the same choice.
In his video, Jindal challenges Louisiana State University football coach Les Miles, “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, and Morning Joe’s very own Joe Scarborough. He also said he’d be donating in addition to being soaked.
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects voluntary motion and in later stages, causes paralysis and eventually death, according to the ALS Association.
