It was monsters versus zombies at the box office, and the monsters were no match even for Brad Pitt. “Monsters University” took in $82 million over the weekend. That’s Pixar’s second-highest opening ever behind only 2010’s “Toy Story 3.” Brad Pitt’s “World War Z” though came in a strong second.
