Two politicians are putting their state’s best delicacies on the line in a winner-eats-all challenge.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and GOP Congressman Richard Hudson have a friendly wager going into this weekend’s second round NFL playoff game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers.
If the 49ers win, Hudson will send Pelosi Bojangles chicken, Lance crackers, and Cheerwine to toast her victory. But if the Panthers come out on top, Pelosi will provide him with San Francisco sourdough bread from Boudin Bakery, and chocolate from Ghirardelli and TCHO.
“I look forward to starting next week with a hearty meal of chicken, crackers, Cheerwine, and victory,” Pelosi said.
