Time for the Sideshow!
The Twitter community got a new member this week – President Obama!
After nearly seven years in office, the president officially joined the social media giant on Monday under the handle @POTUS. Within hours, the president collected over one million followers including one of his predecessors, former President Bill Clinton, who had a particularly pertinent question about the account:
Welcome to @Twitter, @POTUS! One question: Does that username stay with the office? #askingforafriend

Not to be outdone, President Obama offered an ingenious response:
Good question, @billclinton. The handle comes with the house. Know anyone interested in @FLOTUS?

I think it’s safe to say he’s getting the hang of this Twitter thing.
Next up, it’s graduation season across the country, which means it’s time for high-profile speakers to offer their words of wisdom to the Class of 2015.
Last weekend, Vice President Joe Biden spoke at Yale University and put some of his trademark humor on display.
“Now look — I realize no one ever doubts I mean what I say,” Biden quipped. “The problem occasionally is, I say all that I mean. I have a bad reputation for being straight, sometimes at inappropriate times.”
Nevertheless, the Vice President made sure to offer up heartfelt advice to the graduates, telling them to not “…forget about what doesn’t come from this prestigious diploma — the heart to know what’s meaningful and what’s ephemeral; and the head to know the difference between knowledge and judgment.”
