Is Mitt Romney a hawk or a dove when it comes to foreign policy? According to senior Obama adviser Robert Gibbs, he’s a “wing-tipped cowboy.”
Appearing on Hardball with Chris Matthews ahead of Monday’s final presidential debate, Gibbs said a Romney presidency would return us to the “cowboy diplomacy” of George W. Bush that “got us into so many messes.”
“Bullying is a lot of what I think his foreign policy might be,” the former White House press secretary told Matthews in response to a question about how Romney has steamrolled moderators in the past two debates.
