Tonight on All In with Chris Hayes: In the midst of a Justice Department investigation into the Trayvon Martin case, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder appeared at the NAACP National Convention Tuesday afternoon to speak about gun violence. Tensions are still running high following the Zimmerman trial verdict, with a rally in Tallahassee Tuesday and protests in Los Angeles and Oakland, CA, that turned violent Monday night. Rev. Jesse Jackson, civil rights leader and founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Salamishah Tillet, professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and Heather McGhee, Vice President of Demos, will join the table to discuss the latest reaction to the verdict.
Plus: Former New York Governor and candidate for New York City Comptroller Elliot Spitzer will join the table for a discussion about the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which finally gained a leader Tuesday when the Senate confirmed the president’s nominee, Richard Cordray. Chris Hayes will also talk with Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat from Massachusetts, about the new director and agency, which she was instrumental in establishing.
