When George Zimmerman expressed interest in participating in a celebrity boxing match, hip-hop stars reportedly began lining up to step into the ring with him.
The Game, who has a tattoo of Trayvon Martin on his leg, showed interest. “I will beat the f*** out of him,” he told TMZ, “I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.”
Now according to the same gossip site, DMX has officially signed on.
Boxing promoter Damon Feldman has confirmed that he chose DMX out of a purported 15,000 applicants to fight Zimmerman, who was acquitted of second degree murder charges in the death of Martin last year.
