Today marks the grim anniversary of the beginning of the war in Iraq–a war America chose to fight on false pretenses. Nearly 4,500 Americans have lost their lives and more than 30,000 have been wounded. Ten years later, American men and women are still in country. Poll after poll shows the American people don’t believe the war was worth its cost in blood and treasure. And even Paul Wolfowitz, one of the architects of the invasion, admits the Bush administration bungled the war and it spiraled out of control. Today, a dozen car bombs killed at least 50 people in Baghdad.
