The Obamacare website crashed because the government is in charge of it, Sen. Tom Coburn said on Monday’s Morning Joe.
“We’re incompetent to roll it out,” the Republican Oklahoma senator said.
Host Joe Scarborough also said the “basic incompetence” of some people within the current administration has allowed for the problems to occur.
“What we’ve done is lost the very vision of what this country was founded on,” Coburn said.
Americans had the opportunity to start signing up for Obamacare on Oct. 1, but website glitches have caused widespread outrage and heated debates among leaders around the country. Both users and insurance providers have reported experiencing issues when visiting HealthCare.gov.
