Okay, guys, if you really, really, really want Chris Christie to run as Mitt Romney’s VP, just maybe he could be swayed. Only if the presumptive GOP nominee persuades him.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, today Christie told a high school history class, “He might be able to convince me. He’s a convincing guy.” He said he would at least hear Romney out if he were ever to get that call.
That’s a change of tune from the past. The New Jersey’s governor said over and over again he “not looking to become vice president.”
While he’s said he’s not interested in the coveted slot, Christie’s name keeps getting floated among the cable news crowd as a potential finalist. Who should Romney pick as his running-mate mate? Drop me a line or tweet me your thoughts.
