It’s take two for Chris Rock at the Oscars.
The popular comedian announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he will host the ceremony for a second time. He first emceed in 2005, the year Clint Eastwood’s “Million Dollar Baby” took home the top prize.
Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin called Rock, 50, an “MVP” of the entertainment industry with sterling credentials, including several stand-up specials, movies and his own TV series, “The Chris Rock Show.”

“Comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, documentarian — he’s done it all,” Hill and Hudlin said in a statement. “He’s going to be a phenomenal Oscar host!”
