Stephen Colbert can add another accomplishment to his growing list of achievements: his show was the subject of former President Jimmy Carter’s first text message ever.
Carter’s grandson, gubernatorial candidate Jason Carter, tweeted a photo Wednesday of #39’s first text:

The former president appeared on The Colbert Report Tuesday night to promote his new book, A Call To Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power.
