The “secret weapon” of the U.S. Men’s National Team crashed a pep rally in Recife, Brazil ahead of the U.S. vs. Germany match – and took a shot at Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, who has been suspended from World Cup action for biting an Italian defender.
In a red, white, and blue kit, Ferrell led the crowd in cheers and praised the spirit of the #USMNT (U.S. Men’s National Team). He also promised to do whatever it takes – even show his teeth – to win.
Spoiler alert: Ferrell was never called off the bench for the match, which the U.S lost 1-0 to Germany. The #USMNT finished second in Group G behind Germany and both teams advance to the Round of 16. The U.S next plays Belgium in a knockout match Tuesday, July 1st at 4pm ET.
