Lawrence warns fellow anchors that George Zimmerman’s lawyer, Craig Sonner is ‘looking for softballs’. Lawrence says Sonner only wants, ‘easy questions, easy venues. He won’t go anywhere else.’
For the first time in Last Word history a guest fled the studio moments before a live interview. Sonner gave no explanation to Last Word producers. Sonner has also not returned repeated calls for comment.
Lawrence now implores anyone who interviews George Zimmerman’s lawyer to “do a real, solid interview”. The Last Word still has an outstanding invitation out to Mr. Sonner. He may join us any night to answer the questions Lawrence posed last night.
