Conservative firebrand Rush Limbaugh accused Democrats of turning women “into nothing but abortion machines” during a rant on his radio talk show Wednesday.
“Look at what they’re doing to destroy the black family, they’re destroying minority families — look at what they’re doing to women with their policies,” said Limbaugh. “They’re demeaning them, they’re turning them into nothing but abortion machines.”
The ring-wing host was discussing how the Republicans could effectively “counter the war on women meme” with a caller before launching into an attack over the ways Democrats are “demeaning women.”
This latest outburst comes from the man who called law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” for advocating for the coverage of birth control under Obamacare.
He also had harsh words for Republicans for not doing more to combat “liberal propaganda” of being the anti-women party.
“There’s so much that we could be doing to just fight back, but the Republican Party, even if they had all the money in the world right now, doesn’t seem inclined to do any of this.” Female voters overwhelmingly supported Democrats in the last election as the GOP’s focus shifted toward more controversial social issues. But, their collective crusade against reproductive rights continues. Sen. Lindsey Graham unveiled new legislation Thursday banning late-term abortions.
