Attention animals lovers, there are three new furry creatures for you to love!
On Tuesday, the three-week-old endangered Sumatran tiger cubs made their first public appearance crawling and sniffing around their habitat at the Chester Zoo in England. Under the watchful eye of eight-year-old mom Kirana the trio cubs emerged from their den to experience the world.
The furry trio, who are yet to be named, were born on January 2nd Kirana after a 105-day pregnancy.
“We’re thrilled to kick off 2015 with these special arrivals. These tiny triplets who, in June, will move to a brand new home in our Islands zone, are now part of a safety-net against the population in the wild becoming extinct. That to me is incredibly humbling.” Tim Rowlands, curator of mammals at Chester Zoo, said.
