On Wednesday, The Cycle officially announced me as a new co-host. I am so excited to be joining the team and continuing my relationship with msnbc! Also, I’m learning that when you are tapped to replace someone on a show, people keep asking you about that person
The Hollywood Reporter, for example, asked what it’s like to step into Steve’s shoes. (I guess they don’t know the term around here is step into his sweater). I told them:
“Steve is irreplaceable; he was erudite, unique and downright lovable, and it’s clear the msnbc audience is excited to see him develop as a weekend host.”
Now, if you guys have any tips to help me survive and thrive on The Cycle, please leave them in the comment section. One thing about this blog—I will reply to comments! You can decide whether that’s good or bad . . .
