So it looks like the shaggy, long-extinct woolly mammoth may be making a surprise comeback. According to this report:
“Within five years, a woolly mammoth will likely be cloned, according to scientists who have just recovered well-preserved bone marrow in a mammoth thigh bone.”
So stuff that we thought was long gone? Maybe isn’t that long gone. Can something be un-extincted? Will we soon see stories like these:
